Program of utilization of gas
Ecologically safe use of associated gas - a priority for "Petrokazakhstan". On June 15, 2006 the Ministry of Energy and the RK mineral resources approved the Program for PKKR gas utilization, and the company of one of the first in the republic began implementation of the projects directed to effective use of associated gas. The program of utilization of associated gas solves a number of important environmental problems: burning and emissions of gas, evaporation of easy fractions of oil in the atmosphere are excluded, the probability of oil spill and pollution of soil is reduced, fire safety of production significantly increases. It is planned to SHOUTING of 110 kV to conduct end of the Phase II which includes the compressor equipment, modernization of the existing part parallel to modernization of the existing GTU which are on operation since the beginning of 2004. Implementation of the Phase II of the project in the technological plan will not interfere with a main objective of the project - utilization of gas and power generation.
For the last five years "Petrokazakhstan" realized a number of large projects on collecting, transportation and the return pumping associated gas. At the end of 2010 the Phase I on the GTU Kumkol Expansion project on a start-up complex was put into operation. This project provides expansion of the existing GTPP (gas-turbine power plant) of m / r Kumkol, i.e. plant on utilization of gas and the 55 MW power generation on additional 2 GTU (gas-turbine installations) 25 MW everyone. Except this capital equipment within the project installation auxiliary technological, electric equipments, capacities and also to the SHOUTING of 110 kV (the open distributing device) and VL 110 of kV of JSC PKKR and JSC Turgai Petroleum who is a participant of consortium is provided. The voted budget of the project - 47 500 000 US dollars from which 23 750 000 US dollars fall to the share of PKKR.
This project was included in the Card of industrialization of the Program a road map of business of the Kyzylorda region for 2010. Now GTU No. 4,5 work in the single mode, i.e. utilize associated gas without power generation. For development of the additional electric power of 50 MW it is necessary to satisfy specifications of KEGOC which is a national operator of electric networks. At the moment the most part of conditions is executed. PKKR makes all efforts for the accelerated performance of these conditions.
